Pillow, Duvet, and Bedding Care Instructions

Due to the raw, minimally processed nature of our fibers, complete submersion in water may damage the delicate fibers of our products, including pillows and duvets.

For cleaning, we recommend spot treating your White Lotus Home pillows, duvets, and bedding using a solution of three parts water to one part vinegar. Simply spray the solution onto the stain and expose it to sunlight. Allow it to air dry and repeat the process until the stain fades and any odors dissipate. Alternatively, you can use a mild laundry detergent instead of vinegar. Hydrogen peroxide is effective for surface stains such as blood, while rubbing alcohol can assist in removing oils from cosmetics.

It's crucial to ensure that bedding does not remain damp, as this can lead to uneven wear or the growth of mold. After cleaning or in the event of a spill, promptly dry any moisture by either placing the item in direct sunlight or using a hair dryer. Ensure that the item is thoroughly dry before reapplying sheets or protective covers, such as our Organic Barrier Cloth Covers.
