Care and Cleaning: Pillows, Duvets, and Bedding

Due to the raw, minimally processed nature of our fibers, submerging our products in water can damage the fibers. This applies to pillows and duvets as well.

We advise spot cleaning your White Lotus Home pillows, duvets, and bedding with a solution comprising three parts water to one part vinegar. Spray this solution onto the stain and expose it to sunlight. Allow it to dry, and repeat the process until the stain fades and odors vanish. Alternatively, you can use a mild laundry detergent instead of vinegar. For surface stains, hydrogen peroxide is effective for blood, while rubbing alcohol can assist in removing oils from cosmetics.

It's essential to ensure that bedding does not remain damp, as it may promote uneven wear or mold growth. After cleaning or a spill, dry any moisture by placing the item in the sun or using a hair dryer. Ensure it is completely dry before re-adding sheets or protective covers, such as our Organic Barrier Cloth Covers.

Please be aware that these suggestions carry inherent risks, and results may vary.
