Care and Cleaning: Pillows, Duvets, and Bedding

Due to their raw, minimally processed fibers, our products should not be fully submerged in water as it may damage the fibers, including pillows and duvets.

For cleaning, we recommend spot cleaning your White Lotus Home pillows, duvets, and bedding using a solution of three parts water to one part vinegar. Apply the solution to the stain and expose it to sunlight. Allow it to dry and repeat as needed until the stain fades and odors vanish. Alternatively, you can use a mild laundry detergent instead of vinegar. For surface stains, hydrogen peroxide is effective for blood stains, while rubbing alcohol can remove oils from cosmetics.

To prevent uneven wear or mold growth, avoid leaving bedding damp. After cleaning or a spill, dry any moisture by placing the item in the sun or using a hair dryer. Ensure it is completely dry before adding sheets or protective covers, such as our Organic Barrier Cloth Covers.
