Natural Latex for a Sweat-Free Sleep
Unlike memory foam, natural latex maintains a neutral temperature, preventing sweating during sleep. Soft and responsive like memory foam, yet exceptionally durable, natural latex ensures long-lasting comfort. Moreover, it's 100% biodegradable, mold and mite-resistant, and naturally antimicrobial, ensuring a fresher sleep surface for longer periods. Our natural Dunlop latex provides a medium firmness, offering excellent support and weight redistribution to cradle your body.
What Is Green Cotton?
Our Green Cotton, while not certified organic, is a cost-effective alternative to organic cotton. Grown in the United States, it is free from dyes, perfumes, and flame retardants commonly found in conventional cotton. This affordable material, slightly firmer than organic cotton, ensures a chemical-free sleeping experience.
Wool from Happy Sheep
Our commitment to ethical standards ensures that our sheep are raised on rotating pastures, and their wool is never treated with chemicals or flame retardants. With approximately 1.5” of the finest wool enveloping the Dreamton futon, it naturally repels microbes and dust mites, without the need for chemical treatments. Wool's natural insulative properties provide comfort in all seasons.
Sleeping on the Green Cotton, Latex, and Wool Dreamton Futon
The Dreamton, devoid of springs, prevents motion transfer between sleepers, ensuring an uninterrupted sleep experience. Whether placed on a box spring set, platform bed, or used as a floor bed, the Dreamton offers unparalleled support and responsiveness. For optimal performance, a slatted bed frame with wide slats spaced appropriately is recommended. Supportive and responsive, the Green Cotton, Latex, and Wool Dreamton is a futon unlike any other, promising a sleep experience you'll cherish.
For further details, refer to our supplier's OEKO-TEX certification for our Latex. Our natural latex is Oeko-Tex Class 1 Certified, as well as FSC Certified, with the manufacturing plant in the USA being GOLS Certified.
Distinguishing Between a White Lotus Home Futon and Mattress
A mattress, standard at 6" thick, features side handles and side panels for maneuverability and shape, respectively. In contrast, a futon, 5" thick, lacks handles and sports rounded sides. These distinctions allow us to offer futons crafted from the same premium materials as mattresses at a lower cost.

Use & Care:
Care and Maintenance: Pillows, Duvets, and Bedding
Due to their raw, minimally processed nature, our products cannot be fully immersed in water without risking damage to the fibers, including pillows and duvets.
We recommend spot cleaning your White Lotus Home pillows, duvets, and bedding using a solution of 3 parts water to 1 part vinegar. Apply the solution to the stain and expose it to sunlight. Allow it to dry completely, repeating the process until the stain fades and any odors dissipate. Alternatively, you can use a mild laundry detergent instead of vinegar. For surface stains, hydrogen peroxide is effective for blood stains, while rubbing alcohol can help remove cosmetic oils.
It's important to ensure that bedding does not remain damp, as it could lead to uneven wear or mold growth. After cleaning or a spill, dry any moisture by placing the item in the sun or using a hair dryer. Ensure it is fully dry before adding sheets or protective covers, such as our Organic Barrier Cloth Covers. Please note that these cleaning suggestions are at your own risk and results may vary.
Reviving Pillows & Duvets
Certain fibers, such as kapok, may absorb natural oils over time, affecting their loft and fluffiness. To restore them, pillows can be placed in the dryer on the "Cold Air/Fluff" setting for 15 to 20 minutes. Wool dryer balls or clean tennis balls can assist in fluffing the inner fibers. Avoid using a heated setting to prevent damage to the fibers.
Revitalizing Wool Bedding
Wool bedding, including duvets and toppers, may benefit from exposure to direct sunlight and air once a month to act as a natural sanitizer. If professional cleaning is preferred, opt for dry-cleaning only. Avoid submerging wool bedding in water or using a washing machine, as this can cause irreversible felting of the wool.
Cleaning Sheets & Covers
Sheets and covers can be safely washed in cold water on a gentle cycle and dried on low heat, although line drying is recommended for best results.
Cleaning Cotton Belle Covers
Refer to the fiber content and care instructions specific to your Cotton Belle Covers. Fabrics marked with a "*" are machine washable on the gentle cycle, with line drying preferred.
Cleaning Coyuchi Blankets & Sheets
Coyuchi's cotton and linen products are machine washable. For whites and light colors, use warm water and non-phosphate soap on a gentle or delicate cycle. For dark colors, opt for cold water and non-phosphate soap on a gentle or delicate cycle. Line dry or tumble dry on low heat and promptly remove. Avoid using whiteners as they may affect color brilliance; use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary. Always refer to the product tag for specific instructions. Place wool dryer balls in the dryer to naturally soften fabric and reduce drying time.
Cleaning Coyuchi Organic Cotton Mattress Pads
Machine wash Coyuchi organic cotton mattress pads with like colors on a gentle or delicate cycle, using cold water and a natural, plant-based laundry detergent. Avoid using whiteners, as they may affect color brilliance; use non-chlorine bleach if necessary. Line dry or tumble dry on low heat and promptly remove. Fabric softeners and dryer sheets are not recommended as they reduce absorbency. Place wool dryer balls in the dryer to naturally soften fabric and reduce drying time. Use a warm iron as needed.
