Flipping Your Mattress
For mattresses placed on a slatted surface, we advise flipping them approximately every three months. However, if your mattress rests on a solid surface like a box spring, we recommend flipping it monthly. This rotation helps prevent compaction and allows the materials to breathe, ensuring optimal comfort and durability.
Cleaning Your Mattress
Spot cleaning is the preferred method for maintaining your mattress. Avoid saturating the mattress with liquid, as excessive moisture can lead to mold and mildew growth. We highly recommend using one of our protective Barrier Cloth mattress covers to safeguard against spills.
For spot cleaning, we suggest a gentle solution of three parts water to one part vinegar in a spray bottle. For tougher stains, you can add a mild detergent to the solution. After spot cleaning, ensure thorough drying of the mattress to prevent moisture buildup. You can use a hair dryer or place the mattress in the sun for natural drying and airing out.
