Due to the raw, minimally processed nature of our fibers, our products should not be fully submerged in water to avoid damaging the fibers. This precaution applies to pillows, duvets, and bedding.
For spot cleaning, we recommend using a solution of 3 parts water to 1 part vinegar on your White Lotus Home pillows, duvets, and bedding. Apply the solution to the stain and expose it to sunlight. Allow it to dry and repeat the process until the stain fades and any odors dissipate. Alternatively, you can use a mild laundry detergent instead of vinegar. For surface stains, hydrogen peroxide is effective for blood stains, while rubbing alcohol can help remove oils from cosmetics.
It's crucial to ensure that bedding does not remain damp, as this may lead to uneven wear or mold growth. After cleaning or in case of spills, dry any moisture by placing the item in direct sunlight or using a hair dryer. Ensure it is completely dry before reapplying sheets or protective covers, such as our Organic Barrier Cloth Covers.

We recommend exposing them to direct sunlight and fresh air once a month, as sunlight acts as a natural sanitizer. If you prefer professional cleaning, opt for a dry-cleaning process only. Avoid submerging wool bedding in water or using washing machines, as this could cause irreversible felting of the wool fibers.
