If you've enthusiastically agreed to all four points, then the GREEN Cotton & Wool BOULDER Dreamton Futon is your ticket to improved sleep!
Firmer, bigger and more luxurious than ever, the Boulder Dreamton futon embodies everything its wool and Green Cotton counterpart offers, but with 15% more cotton and double the tufts for a firm futon focused on support. As our firmest futon, the Boulder comprises a Green Cotton core wrapped in pure wool. Solid and satisfying, the Boulder can be as thin as six inches or as plush as eight inches, available in all standard and custom sizes. It provides an organic and hypoallergenic option in every size.
What Is Green Cotton?
Green Cotton serves as a more budget-friendly alternative to our organic cotton products. Although it's grown in the United States and lacks organic certification, this material is slightly firmer than organic cotton and boasts the absence of dyes, perfumes, and flame retardants. Cultivated by American farmers, Green Cotton offers a cost-effective solution without exposing you to the harmful chemicals often found in conventional cotton.
Wool from Happy Sheep
White Lotus holds their shepherds to the highest standards of quality and ethics. Sheep enjoy rotating pastures to prevent erosion and overgrazing, and their wool remains free from chemicals or flame retardants. Encased in a layer of the finest wool we source, Boulder Dreamton futons are naturally antimicrobial and dust mite resistant, requiring no flame-retardant chemical treatments to ensure safety. Wool's natural insulative properties make it comfortable year-round.
Sleeping on the Green Cotton and Wool Boulder Dreamton Futon
The Boulder Dreamton is a futon without springs, minimizing motion transfer between sleepers. It's suitable for use on a box spring set, platform bed, or bi-fold/tri-fold futon frame, even as a floor bed. For optimal air circulation, place it on a slatted bed frame with slats spaced no more than 2" - 2.5" apart. Beyond this range, slat spacing may affect futon longevity and comfort. Firm and supportive, the Boulder Dreamton offers our firmest feel, crafted from healthy and non-toxic materials you can trust.
Typically 6" thick, while a futon is 5" thick. A mattress includes side handles for maneuverability, while a futon does not. A mattress has side panels for a boxier shape, whereas a futon has rounded sides. Despite these distinctions, both use the same high-quality materials, allowing futons to be more cost-effective. Mattresses can be made up to 8" thick.

Use & Care
Care and Maintenance: Pillows, Duvets, and Bedding
Due to the raw, minimally processed nature of our fibers, our products cannot withstand complete submersion in water without risking damage to the fibers. This precaution applies to pillows and duvets.
We recommend spot cleaning your White Lotus Home pillows, duvets, and bedding using a solution of 3 parts water to 1 part vinegar. Apply the solution to the stain and expose it to sunlight. Allow it to dry completely and repeat the process until the stain fades and odors dissipate. Alternatively, you can use a mild laundry detergent as a substitute for vinegar. For surface stains, hydrogen peroxide is effective for blood, while rubbing alcohol can remove oils from cosmetics.
It's important to ensure that bedding does not remain damp, as this can lead to uneven wear or mold growth. After cleaning or a spill, dry any moisture by placing the item in sunlight or using a hair dryer. Make sure it is fully dry before adding sheets or protective covers, such as our Organic Barrier Cloth Covers.
Please note that these cleaning suggestions are at your own risk, and results may vary.
Revitalizing Pillows & Duvets
Certain fibers, like kapok, have a tendency to absorb natural oils, which can affect loft and fluffiness. To restore these qualities, pillows can be placed in the dryer on the "Cold Air/Fluff" setting for 15 to 20 minutes. Specially-designed wool dryer balls or clean tennis balls can assist in fluffing the inner fibers. It's crucial to avoid using a heated setting to prevent damage to the inner fibers.
Refreshing Wool Bedding
Wool bedding, including duvets and toppers, may require special care from time to time. We recommend exposing them to direct sunlight and air once a month, as sunlight acts as a natural sanitizer. If you prefer professional cleaning, use a dry-cleaning process only. Never submerge wool bedding in water or place it in a washing machine, as this can cause irreversible felting of the wool.
Cleaning Sheets & Covers
Sheets and covers can be safely washed in cold water on a gentle cycle and dried on low heat, although line drying is preferred.
Cleaning Cotton Belle Covers
Refer to the provided chart for fiber content and specific care instructions for your Cotton Belle Covers. Fabrics marked with a * are machine washable on the gentle cycle, with line drying preferred.
Cleaning Coyuchi Blankets & Sheets
Coyuchi's cotton and linen products are machine washable. For whites and light colors, use a gentle or delicate cycle with warm water and non-phosphate soap. For dark colors, opt for a gentle or delicate cycle with cold water and non-phosphate soap. Line dry or tumble dry on low heat, and promptly remove from the dryer. Avoid using whiteners, as they may affect color brilliance and depth. Use non-chlorine bleach when necessary, and refer to the product tag for specific instructions. To naturally soften the fabric and reduce drying time, add wool dryer balls to the dryer.
Cleaning Coyuchi Organic Cotton Mattress Pads
Machine wash Coyuchi organic cotton mattress pads on a gentle or delicate cycle with like colors, using cold water and a natural, plant-based laundry detergent. Avoid using whiteners, as they may affect color brilliance and depth. Line dry or tumble dry on low heat, and promptly remove from the dryer. Fabric softeners and dryer sheets are not recommended, as they can reduce cotton textile absorbency. To naturally soften the fabric and reduce drying time, use wool dryer balls in the dryer. Use a warm iron as needed.
