Optimal air circulation is ensured with a slatted bed frame, featuring slats spaced no more than 2" - 2.5" apart. Lower weights generally reflect a Latex Core or Evergreen Foam Core futons, while higher weights are more typical of a Boulder Style (extra firm) futons. All dimensions and weights are approximate. A variation of up to 1" in all directions is appropriate.

Due to their raw, minimally processed nature, our products cannot withstand complete immersion in water without risking damage to the fibers, including pillows and duvets.
We recommend spot cleaning your White Lotus Home pillows, duvets, and bedding using a solution of 3 parts water to one part vinegar. Apply the solution to the stain and expose it to sunlight. Allow it to dry thoroughly and repeat the process until the stain fades and odors vanish. Alternatively, you can use a mild laundry detergent instead of vinegar. For surface stains, hydrogen peroxide is effective for blood stains, while rubbing alcohol can tackle oils from cosmetics.
It's crucial to ensure that bedding does not remain damp, as this can lead to uneven wear or mold growth. After cleaning or a spill, promptly dry any moisture by placing the item in sunlight or using a hairdryer. Ensure it is completely dry before reapplying sheets or protective covers, such as our Organic Barrier Cloth Covers. Please note that these recommendations are followed at your own risk, and outcomes may vary.
Certain fibers, especially kapok, can absorb natural oils, affecting loft and fluffiness over time. To restore these qualities, pillows can be placed in the dryer on the "Cold Air/Fluff" setting for 15 to 20 minutes. Using specially-designed wool dryer balls or clean tennis balls can aid in fluffing the inner fibers. Avoid using heated settings to prevent damage to the fibers.
Wool bedding, such as duvets and toppers, may require special care from time to time. We recommend exposing them to direct sunlight and air at least once a month, as sunlight acts as a natural sanitizer. If professional cleaning is preferred, opt for dry-cleaning only. Avoid submerging wool bedding in water or using washing machines, as this can result in irreversible felting of the wool.
Sheets and covers can be washed in cold water on a gentle cycle and dried on low heat, though line drying is preferable for optimal results.
