Pillows, Duvets, and Bedding Due to their raw and minimally processed nature, our products cannot withstand complete immersion in water without risking damage to the fibers. This applies to both pillows and duvets.
For spot cleaning your White Lotus Home pillows, duvets, and bedding, we recommend using a solution of 3 parts water to one part vinegar. Apply the solution directly to the stain and allow it to sit in sunlight. Once dry, repeat the process until the stain fades and any odors dissipate. Alternatively, you can use a mild laundry detergent instead of vinegar. Hydrogen peroxide is effective for surface stains like blood, while rubbing alcohol can help remove oils from cosmetics.
It's crucial to ensure that bedding does not remain damp, as this may lead to uneven wear or mold growth. After cleaning or a spill, promptly dry any moisture by either placing the item in direct sunlight or using a hair dryer. Make sure the item is completely dry before reapplying sheets or protective covers, such as our Organic Barrier Cloth Covers.
